About the Senior Football Section

The Framlingham Town Football Club first team, known as "The Castlemen" play in the Thurlow Nunn Premier League. Matches are played on Saturday afternoons at 3.00pm, or Tuesday evenings. The reserve team plays in the Suffolk & Ipswich Intermediate A’ League. The A team plays in the Suffolk & Ipswich Intermediate C' League. The Veterans play in the Norfolk & Suffolk Veterans League on Sundays.

Framlingham Town Football Club was founded back in 1887. During its 113 years of football, the club has played in various leagues starting in the early years in the Ipswich And District then the Framlingham League and progressed through the Leiston League, Woodbridge League and then moving back into the Ipswich Leagues.

For training there is a floodlight pitch that is extremely well used by the now 20 teams that make up the club.
